R/C Modeleers To Host 2015 NAMBA Nationals

2015 NAMBA Nationals Contest Director
The Folsom R/C Modeleers of District 9 are proud to present
the 2015 NAMBA Nationals for Nitro and Gas.
The dates will be July 11-18, 2015 at Lake Minden’s
Thousand Trails Resort in Nicolaus, California. Saturday the
11th and Sunday the 12th will be open water for testing with
occasional 15 minute breaks through out the day as NAMBA
Combat will be hosting battles near by.
Racing will commence on Monday the 13th through
Saturday the 18th followed by the awards banquet that evening.
Enclosed with this edition of the Propwash is a NAMBA
Nationals Race Entry Form. All of the information you need is
enclosed.

HUMAN PADDLEBOAT CONTEST
Get your fun on!
We suggest you select a teammate with STRONG legs.
First (and probably the last) time ever offered at the NAMBA Nationals.
Are you up to the challenge?
RULES:
Team event - Must have TWO passengers per paddleboat.
A short practice period will be allowed prior to the race.
No age limit. Register it the gift tent at the race site.
The course will be a straight line between the two outside turn buoys.
Fastest time wins!
ONE trophy will be awarded.
Entry Fee: $2.50 per person or $5.00 per team
NIGHT TIME RACING
This RC Modeleers Club exclusive is a WILD event! With so much
crazy fun, it should not be legal. The race announcer announces the race
just like normal heat racing and then suddenly the lights go out! You
never know what is going to happen.

Entry Fee: $2.50 per boat
RULES:
Nitro “A” class boats ONLY.
Boats are required to be lit for visibility. LED’s, glow sticks, or
fluorescent paint. Whatever lighting you use, the boats MUST be visible
from the shoreline.
Course buoys will be lit.
No practice period for this event.
NAMBA members only. Register in the gift tent at the race site.
