          From the above comments, I decided
        
        
          that attitudes are a lot more important
        
        
          than rules. This column is one of the
        
        
          ways NAMBA tries to influence safety
        
        
          attitudes. Experienced racers and CDs
        
        
          speaking out when they see obvious
        
        
          problems are even more important.

          need to set up safety committees at the
        
        
          district level. All of the rules in the
        
        
          world and all the signed consents are
        
        
          worthless if we don’t promote a culture
