Proposal Voting
By Al Waters
NAMBA Executive Secretary
In this issue of the Propwash, there
are two proposals to vote on. Many
times, members will not vote on a
proposal because they might say that it
does not affect me. This time around,
that will not be the case.
A rule proposal has been submitted
by NAMBA District Three increasing
the cc limit size in the General Engine
Specification rules for GX-Twin.
NAMBA District 20 has submitted a
rule proposal on how NAMBA voting
will be conducted in future elections for
NAMBA officers and rule proposals. So
as you can see, one if not both proposals
will affect everyone in NAMBA.
Especially if you are a person who
participates in the voting process.
And that is the key word. Participate.
If you are a NAMBA member, no matter
what your age may be, you have the
right to vote.
Please follow the instructions on the
rule proposal sheet included with the
NAMBA
Propwash
newsletter so that
your vote will be properly counted.
It’s your chance to make a difference.

When I was not racing we were site seeing, shopping, eating at incredible
restaurants, playing on the beach and swimming in the ocean where the water turns
from a turquoise color to a blue that looks like Windex. The only issue we had was we
did not plan enough days to spend there so in March of 2017, we are going back and
staying much longer.
I hope boaters who read this that have wondered whether they should go to the
USVI/Caribbean races.... Go! You will truly enjoy it.
I would like to thank Burton Edney, Austin, Curtis, Elvin and all of the other
boaters from St Croix, St. John, Tortola and Puerto Rico for there friendship
and hospitality. I am so happy I went this year and I am looking forward to seeing all
of my friends once again in 2017.
The St. Croix R/C Model Boat Club drivers stand is a permanent structure and
provides an excellent view of the race course
