Renewing Memberships

November 1 of a current year is the
soonest a person can renew their
NAMBA membership for the following
year. I have been able to hold numbers
for at least six to eight months for those
who procrastinate however, if you have
not been a NAMBA member for quite a
few years and someone can give me a
real convincing story why they want that
particular number, I will release it.
Okay, so now you want to renew your
membership. First, you will need to at
least get to the NAMBA Membership
Portal page from the NAMBA web site.
If you have difficulty with that, please
do not read any further and just call me
at (760) 522-9138. You will need to
remember your user name and password
from this past year. Your user name is
your e-mail address. If you forgot your
password, you can retrieve it from the

NAMBAMembership Portal Revisited - AGAIN

After going through an entire year of processing NAMBA Memberships, Site
Insurances, Single Event Insurance, Race Sanctions, and Club Registrations with the
Membership Portal, needless to say I have learned a lot about people and their
perception of how things should work.
As with any program, there are things to learn, things to change, and things to fix.
It is an ongoing process as a program is only as good as the people who design the
thing. We live in a technological world. Tesla is not perfect. Hoverboards have not
been perfect and neither are the latest and greatest cell phones. There are always
updates and fixes. However with the NAMBA Membership Portal there is no danger
of getting hurt unless you break a nail.
The following articles in this edition of the
Propwash
will deal directly with what
concerns you so that you are not put to sleep while reading. If the article is about
Membership, everyone will want to read it. If it is about Race Sanctions, that would
concern Contest Directors and District Directors. So pick your poison if you like or
learn the entire system and you will then be qualified enough to take over my job.
