Craig Knight:
On behalf of the Aussie contingent, I would like
to say how enjoyable it was to come and race at the 2015
Nationals. The weather was great and the race site was first
class. Personally, this was my first trip to the U.S. and
everyone was so friendly and helpful. I would like to thank
everyone, but especially Jim and Renee Piazza for letting us
use their tables and trailer, Gary and Nancy Moll for the use of
their gazebo and Al Hobbs for his Crazy Al’s fuel which got us
on the winners podium. We’ve made memories and friends that
will last a lifetime.
Alan Hobbs:
Thanks for coming over to race with us in the
USA. I enjoyed your humor and your boats ran extremely well.
I hope to see you again at another race.
David Santistevan:
Wow, another amazing NAMBA Nationals.
Thanks to the D9 members that worked so hard to show us top
shelf hospitality. I met so many new friends that I hope to see
frequently at future races. Many thanks to Team Australia for
my Australian Model Boat Association hat (and the ”wet
willie” at the awards banquet). You guys are a blast! Thanks
again guys for an amazing week!

Is Your Club NAMBA Registered?

Here is the latest list of NAMBA clubs that have registered
for 2015. If your club name is not listed below, two things
could happen. Your club name will not appear on your proof of
NAMBA membership, and your club would not be able to
secure site insurance for its pond which is required for your
individual membership to be in effect.
If your club is listed, thank your club officers that they are
on top of things and are doing a good job for its members. If
your club is not listed, contact your club officers and let them
know. I have found that many members do not understand or
were never informed by their previous administration on what
to do.
With the help of David Santistevan, our NAMBA I.T.
Chairman, we have updated the NAMBA web site
“Districts”
page with all registered clubs, their web sites if they have one,
and the sanctioned races for their particular district. If you do
not have a web site but want contact information listed, you
will need to send me that information. Preferably a name and
an e-mail address. I consider this a privacy issue so I would
