All they need to know is their
NAMBA number. Anyone who falls
under this scenario can use (it is real
simple) ...
nambaxxx@ namba.com as their user
name with xxx being their namba
number and a password of the simplest
of numbers. Just get a hold of me and I
will tell you what those numbers are.
Those who have talked with me for tech
support on the telephone know what I
am talking about.
I think that I have pretty much
covered it. If you have any questions or
comments, you can e-mail me, text me,
Skype me, What’s App me, call me,
come visit me, or find me at a race. I will
always get back to unless I am on the
two minute clock.
Proposals To Vote On
In this issue of the
Propwash
there
are two proposals to vote on. You can
log in to the Membership Portal and
vote. You can also use the ballot
enclosed. It is strongly suggested that
you use the online Membership Portal as
that is the direction we are going.
There is also an insert for the
NAMBA Nationals in Kansas. The
preferred method would be to use the
online entry system located on the
NAMBA web site.
It is a pretty slick system set up by
NAMBA I.T. Chairman David
Santistevan that will provide instant
information and funding to the hosting
club or district and an instant record of
entry for the entrant. It’s the way to go.

The NAMBA Membership Portal Revisited
Now on to editing your profile once you have clicked on
Manage My Membership
.
This is where you can add a membership to your profile, request a different
NAMBA number and edit your profile. But how do I do that? You may notice three
icons to the right of Kristina’s name and the two icons to the right of my name. The
eye ball is for viewing. If you place your computer mouse over each icon, your
computer monitor screen will show you what function you can perform. The X is for
deleting the member. The icon in the middle of the three is a pencil and notepad which
is for editing. The illustration below shows you a good example.
I have now covered it all except for the payment part. If you are a PayPal user, then
you know the drill. There are some individuals and clubs that will not use PayPal or do
not have an account with them. You will still be taken care of.
Some other notes of interest that have come up would be securing membership
while at the pond. Those instances have been so far and few between the question has
been asked more times than the actual occurrence. Races have deadlines so there is
plenty of time to notify entrants to secure insurance because the Contest Director
should be checking membership on the entrants in advance as it is. The NAMBA
Membership Roster and SEI Roster is updated every day that I process a membership.
It could be in the morning or in the evening but rest assured, it is uploaded every day a
membership is processed. In that rare instance that a person shows up to the pond with
no advance notice and needs to obtain insurance for the day, it can be done. On a cell
phone. If no cell phone service is available, then I will have to say that I am sorry.
They will have to come back at another time after securing insurance.
Now I do have a few people who have been long time NAMBA members who do
not have a cell phone, no Internet, and no computer. They are my idols. They are still
in the system and can log in with someone else’s assistance ... like on a cell phone.
