President’s Message

NAMBA President
This is my first President’s message since the election last October. First, I want to
thank everyone for voting and I look forward to serving as your NAMBA President.
By the time this message is published, many of us in the warmer districts will
already be racing. Here in District 19, we will start racing in Arizona on Super Bowl
Sunday. This is one of our biggest races of the year and will be held by the London
Bridge in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
The NAMBA Nationals will be held a month earlier than years past in Wichita,
Kansas. For those of you that have never attended a nationals before, it is always a
good time and a great way to meet racers from other parts of the country and the
world. This will be my 21st nationals and will be the first time racing in District 17.
Included in this issue of the
Propwash
is the entry form and schedule for the 2016
Nationals. I hope to see a big turn out.
This year for the first time, NAMBA has everything online to get your membership
cards and all of the forms necessary to host a race. You can find a lot of NAMBA news
and who to contact if you have questions about what NAMBA has to offer. I want to
give a special thank you to David Santistevan. He has worked very hard as our I.T.
Chairman to make all of this happen. I also want to thank all of the District Directors
and Chairmen for their hard work. It makes our organization great to have these
volunteers doing so much so we can all have a good time participating in the hobby
that we love so much.
It looks to be a great year in NAMBA, and I look forward to personally meeting
everyone at the races.
