Hello from the Wave Blasters of Florida in NAMBA District Three. Hope all of
you are doing well. Our Fast Electric Club just finished up with a very big boat display
at the 2nd Annual Stuart Sailfish Regatta. A race for hydroplanes and power boats on
a 1.1 mile oval course. There were about 50 power boats racing their first race of the
year in our little town of Stuart, Florida. We handed out hundreds of race flyers and
club information cards. It appeard like everyone enjoyed our boats and the display.
We are really trying to grow our club this year and with static boat displays like we
participated in at the regatta and our own Shoot Out still ahead of us, maybe we can
make this happen.
We had a real good turn out of members and board of directors who all shared
many hours of promoting the club this past weekend at the regatta. Thank you to
everyone for that tireless help.
Time will tell, but we now expect a large spectator turnout at this year's Spring
Shoot Out. I hope you enjoy the following pictures.
