NAMBA is looking forward to another spectacular season in 1/8th Scale Unlimited Hydroplane Racing. There is nothing more exciting than the feeling of watching deck-to-deck racing and carved rooster tails exceeding 60 mph. It's as real as it gets without strapping yourself into the full size Bernie Little Beer Wagon.

This year NAMBA boasts of three Regattas that are sure to get the adrenaline of Unlimited enthusiasts raging with exhilaration. We start this year off with the Grand Prix Classic in February which is staged in Fremont, CA, District 9's haven for record-breaking heat racing.

Then, September finds us at the seashore getaway of beautiful San Diego for the Bill Muncey Memorial Cup. This event is a bonanza of racing entertainment for boating enthusiast of every interest. In addition to the nitro buzz of the 1/8th Scale Unlimiteds, you can enjoy the roar of Drag Boats, the whiplash cornering of Champ Boat Racing, the "not-to-be-taken-lightly" Unlimited Lights, and of course...the "Big Boys"...the Turbine Tyranny of the Full Scale Thunderboats...All on the same weekend! This is definitely a family event that gives everyone the opportunity to get up-close and personal with your favorite boat and crew.

The Northwest Scale Hydroplane Championship held in the beautiful state of Washington in October. Two full days of Scale Unlimited racing including a Hydroplane swap meet.
