Vice President’s Message By Karl Loveless NAMBA Vice President By the time you read this message, several months will have passed since NAMBA’s important national and district voting concluded. To each member that took the time to vote, Thank You. I am honored and humbled over the outcome. Thank you Chris Wittrig for stepping forward and being willing to do more for NAMBA. I respect your passion for this great hobby and expertise. Congratulations to Richard Romero, Eric Canto and Mark Grim who were also elected . I have much to learn and look forward to that journey. Lucky for me, I am surrounded by some of the best people in the business. If you can’t tell already, the excitement is real and our future is bright. Happy Boating! Northwest Scale Championship Race Returning on July 22nd, 23rd and 24th, 2022 Location - Marysville, Washington at Gissberg Twin Lakes Park (north lake) Classes - 1/8th Scale Nitro, 1/8th Scale Electric, Gas Scale, 1/7th Scale Electric, 1/10th Scale Electric and NAMBA Classic Thunderboat All boats must be configured to NAMBA specifications and participants must have valid NAMBA insurance. This is a great opportunity for a Scale Boating Vacation! In back to back weekends scale racers can compete in the NW Scale Championship Race. Then head to Tri-Cities for the RC Unlimiteds Columbia Cup and the H1 Unlimiteds Race. You can also visit the Hydroplane and Race Boat Museum in Seattle and see all the Vintage Hydroplanes on display. Pre-registration guarantees your participation in the event. It also allows us to load your information into the computer prior to the race. It's possible that we may have to limit boat counts due to time constraints. Payment is by check, money order, or PayPal. Registrations will be confirmed via e-mail.
