DON’T MISS THIS NAMBA EVENT By Alan Hobbs NAMBA President The 50th NAMBA NATS committee has been spending a lot of time to make sure the 2021, 50th NAMBA NATS is beyond something special. You want to be there! Be there for the racing competitions. Be there for the social events. Be there for an unprecedented raffle. In addition, the awards for the 50th NAMBA Nats champions are especially nice, and something that will be treasured for many years. There has been a lot of time spent determining appropriate awards for the first, second and third finishers. We have spent a lot of money on these awards as this is such a special event. Plan to enter on line. You can do this with the official 50th NAMBA NATS website. This will insure that your entries are not subject to being lost in the mail. If you want, you can mail in a paper entry, but it must be received by June 30. When you enter, notice that there is one charge for your entry that includes a program, patch, pin and a banquet ticket. It also includes the welcome party, paddleboat event, and President’s dinner at no additional cost. You will receive a ticket for every social event you enter. You will need that ticket to enter the event. So, make sure to list what social events you will attend with your entry. The Welcome Party and Paddleboat Event will have snacks for everyone, but not a complete meal. The President’s Dinner will have a large smorgasbord type meal and you will be able to choose from a variety of offerings. You will also have to select your Banquet Dinner meal. There will be a nice selection for your choices. Again, you can make your selection on line with your entry. We will need a count from everyone as to how many will attend the Welcome Party, the Paddleboat Event, and the President’s Dinner.
