Pry open the staples of your newsletter and remove the two double pages (#11 - #18 total). Then fold down the staples. Online is best for entering the Nats but you now will have a hard copy for reference. 2. Please welcome the new District 5 Director Mark Grim and District 7 Director David Wale. 3. Check out the new Safety rule in your rule book updates. Nothing different than you should have been doing in the past however there is now a discipline feature. 4. My apology for missing the NAMBA Nationals rule book updates in the October 2019 Propwash newsletter. They are included in this mailing. 5. I receive calls asking … What is a Race Sanction? (Section #15 of the NAMBA rule book). Is a model boat site Sanctioned or is it Insured? (Section #9 of the NAMBA rule book). They make for very good reading. 6. Be honest. Have you read the back of your NAMBA membership card lately? There are four basic, important rules to follow and they not only apply at racing events or contests. They apply at all time (including test and tune days) for your insurance to be in effect. Please read Section #9 in the NAMBA rule book for more detailed explanations of the Safety Rules. 7. If you were a NAMBA member in 2019 and/or a member in 2020, you are receiving this NAMBA Propwash. If you have not renewed for 2020, this is your last newsletter and your NAMBA number is now up for grabs. 8. The following two pages are proposals submitted by District 19 and District 5. The NAMBA Membership Portal will contact you by secure e-mail to vote. You can e-mail or mail your votes to the NAMBA office. There is no official voting ballot due to space limitations in the Propwash newsletter..
