To All Competitors of the 2011 NAMBA Nationals,
On behalf of District 19, I would like to welcome everyone to the 40 th Anniversary of the NAMBA Nationals. This will be the sixth time we have hosted the NAMBA Nationals at Legg Lake, which includes the very first one forty years ago.
We have racers and their families coming in from all over the United States, Australia and many places in between. We have lots of racing on the schedule and many after race activities so everyone can rekindle old friendships and make many more new ones.
District 19 has worked very hard to make sure you have a good time while you are here. Southern California has a lot to offer when you’re not at the park. There are several attractions nearby including amusement parks, museums, landmarks, zoos and aquariums. Included in your race packet are a few coupons and brochures to help you find some of them.
I want to personally thank everyone for coming to this year’s event, and I hope it lives up to your expectations.
I leave you with a quote from Jeff at Insane Boats, “Winning is cool, but I have never lost at having fun!”
Good luck and have fun!
Russell Stark Contest Director District 19 Director
