2021 NAMBA Nats Race Program

Vice President’s Welcome Letter On behalf of NAMBA, I would like to welcome you all to the 50th NAMBA Nation- als. I would like to thank our district members and NAMBA Officers for their assistance in hosting this week-long event at Legg Lake in Los Angeles, California. We are excited to have almost 800 boats entered from all over the United States including Puerto Rico and internationally from Italy and Canada. With this being my second Nationals as a Contest Director I’m excited to see many of my old friends and I’m looking forward to making new ones. This year’s event will have plenty of racing and some great after race activities, so we can all sit around and tell each other how we almost won earlier that day. Our Welcome Party will be held at the beautiful Quiet Cannon facility next to our host hotels. We will also have our traditional Paddleboat Race along with a special President’s Dinner - to help celebrate the last 50 years of NAMBA and the people who have helped make it what it is today. This year’s banquet is shaping up to be something special, it’s going to be wonderful time! NAMBA would like to thank all of our sponsors and those who have donated their products to this year’s NAMBA Nationals - this event could not happen without them. If you happen to see one of our sponsors during the race week please thank them and if you need to purchase products during or after our race please keep them in mind. It’s the best way to say “thank you” for the memories they have helped us make at this year’s NAMBA Nationals. I would personally like to thank you all for attending this year’s NAMBA Nationals and know that we have worked hard to make this a memorable Nationals for all that attend.
