Page 2 Hello Racers, On the behalf of NAMBA District 20 and the members of “Throttle Up Utah Boaters” we welcome you to the beautiful state of Utah for the 48 th annual NAMBA Nationals. This year’s nationals are being held at one of District 20’s premier locations, Decker Lake. The beautiful Decker Lake is in West Valley Utah. This location was chosen once again, it is a stone’s throw away from the host hotel and minutes away from dinning and shopping. The TRAX Utah Light Rail is right around the corner and will take you all around the town. Over the course of the week, we have some fun events planned, amazing raffle prizes, and of course the exciting racing. We are looking forward to seeing old friends as well as making new ones. This year District 20 is trying something new, a “dark” day (no racing). The thought behind this is so you can take a day to explore Utah and all it has to offer, use the day to test-n-tune, or to just soak up the sun by the pool or at the Great Salt Lake. We couldn’t pull off an event like this without the valuable volunteers, gen- erous sponsors and most importantly the retrieval boat operator. It takes countless hours, phone calls, emails, and letters and they all did a wonderful job. I would like to take the time to thank everyone that will make this event a huge success and thank you again to all the sponsors. Let’s enjoy the week and safe travel to all.
